Perhaps we should make sure that the bike path is used, with due deference to the golfers, in the usual way, and see what the Golf Course owners do about it. How can they possible police the whole bike path all the time? Was the list of things done by "good neighbors" sent to the owners, and if so, how did they react? P.

I use it every day. But the section I walk doesn't go past the club house. I may change my route to include that section. That will make it easy for them to police. I will be "in their face".

I never sent the "good neighbor" list to the GOGC because I fear we, as a group, are not prepared to stand behind it. I feel that will be a real problem because, if I was GOGC, I would assume "our bark is worse than our bite". And unfortunately, they could be right.

Consider that on March 23 I posed some questions about how to proceed. I was hoping to get some conversation going. I didn't get a single comment.

Consider that in my walks around the area I have talked to 40 or 50 people and given them the little handout. All expressed great enthusiasm and said they would get right on it. Of those 40 or 50 people, one, just one, has emailed me and posted here.

Consider that a few weeks ago I proposed a message be put in the ROCC news letter. I sent it to 20 or 25 people. I got four responses, two positive and two negative.

I have considered challenging them to arrest me for trespassing. I would be glad to do it if I thought we could fill the courtroom with 40 or 50 supporters. Right now, it might be more like 3 or 4.
